Quality affects lossy formats such as JPG and WebP.

Drop in one image or a whole batch — Staticvert converts JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, SVG, and PDF pages entirely on your device, with no upload and no file-size limit tied to a server.

Step 1

Select your files

Drag and drop or click to choose one or more images. Mixed formats in the same batch are fine.

Step 2

Pick a format

Choose the output format every selected file can convert to, and adjust quality for lossy formats.

Step 3

Convert and download

Get a single file back, or a ZIP when converting a batch — saved straight to your device.

Supported files and outputs

Accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, SVG, AVIF, and PDF inputs, with output choices filtered to compatible formats.

Limitations and quality

JPG and WebP quality settings trade file size for detail. PNG and SVG are generally lossless, and conversion cannot restore detail already missing from the original.

Practical example

Convert a large camera photo to WebP for a website, or export a PDF page as an image for use in a presentation.

Troubleshooting

Try one file at a time for large images, reduce dimensions if memory is limited, and open the downloaded image to check transparency and sharpness.

Processing happens in your browser. Keep the original file until you have opened and checked the downloaded result.

Quick answers

Are my images uploaded anywhere?⌄

No — every conversion runs in your browser using its built-in image APIs. Files never leave your device.

Can I convert a batch of files at once?⌄

Yes — select multiple files and convert them all to the same output format in one pass, downloaded as a ZIP.

Why can't I convert to AVIF?⌄

Browsers can decode AVIF but none currently expose an encoder, so it works as an input format only, not an output one.
